Dubai Leads Global Luxury Real Estate Sales for First Half of 2025
Dubai led the global rankings for sales of super-prime residential real estate priced above $10 million for the first half of 2025.
According to Knight Frank’s Prime Index, out of the 12 cities included in the report Dubai led the global rankings with the highest number of transactions for Q1 and Q2 of 2025 for properties above $10 million USD.
In Q1 of 2025 Dubai recorded the highest overall number of transactions at 111, and the largest overall transaction volume with sales totaling $1.9 billion. In Q2 of 2025, super-prime residential real estate sales in Dubai increased even more, reaching a new all-time-high of $2.6 billion in sales, a 63% increase compared to Q2 2024.
“The total value of all homes sold in Dubai has increased by an incredible 282% since 2020, and in 2024 it was once again the world’s busiest market for US$ 10 million+ homes, recording 435 sales in this exclusive price bracket and almost equaling the number of US$ 10 million+ home sales in London and New York combined. The city has retained this position during Q1 2025 as well.”
Rising population and international HNWI buyers are fueling demand, according to the report.
