Market Update: Highlands, NC June 2021
As listings become available for buyers the average sales prices continue to increase throughout Highlands, North Carolina over the last year according to a recent Market Update from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Meadows Mountain Realty.
June 2021 recorded 61 active listings, which is a 71% decrease compared to the same time last year, according to the report. 114 listings were sold throughout Highlands, NC in June 2021, a notable 73% increase year-over-year. In addition, listings are spending an average of 168 days on the market, which is a decrease of 42% compared to 2020.
With continued buyer demand, the median sales price has experienced a 24% increase year-over-year to $675,000.
Similarly, the surrounding areas of Cashiers, Glenville, and Sapphire have also experienced increased demand over the last year with a recorded 175 sold listings in June 2021. An 84% increase compared to June 2020. The average sale price increased 26% to $893,951.
In addition, active listings decreased 64% to 107 properties and the average days on the market decreased 42% to 143.
